Recently I had the pleasure of spending time with a group of business professionals who meet once a week with the express purpose of generating business for themselves and each other. It's called LeTip, and you can find a local chapter to belong to.
It's not free. In fact you might gag at the cost. But it averages out to basically about $100/month, which is peanuts compared to how much it might cost to advertise.
So, I've been impressed with the caliber of the people and with the way the organization is run, and I am going to join. I will report back in another blog how it is going for me.
As for you, how do you network? I have to admit, I'm a rather shy guy when it comes to running up to strangers and introducing myself (I know, I know, NO EXCUSE! But, it's just not MY NATURE!)
Anyway, chime in and let's get some feedback on how you generate leads for yourself.
