Today I want to talk a little about your "other computer."
It always amazes me when I teach Excel classes how people will accept whatever numbers appear before them, without questioning them. I invariably say, "did you check your work with your other computer?"
Usually people stare at me blankly. Hmm, apparently the school system hasn't done a very good job of teaching people to use that gray matter known as your other computer!
After I explain, usually people laugh and from then on I use the phrase throughout the day.
But do you use your other computer throughout the day?
I've been called in to teach courses specifically because someone entered a decimal point wrong and "assumed" the computer was giving them the right answer.
Use your God-given "other computer" and you'll find your day goes a bit smoother!
