The True Test of a Man...A Salute to Keanu Reeves

Hi gang,
I just had to post a quick blog today based on Keanu Reeves' recent actions on a subway.
In life, "we" often measure people by how much money they have, how many houses or what kind of car they drive. By any of these standards, Keanu Reeves is a huge success.
But that's not why I find him a treasure.
Posted on MSN today was a secret video of Keanu on a bus, and when a woman didn't have a seat, he graciously got up and gave it to her - without any kind of fanfare. Someone happened to be recording the incident, and one could argue perhaps it was a stunt. But let's not go there; it's Christmas season.
Assuming this was legit, isn't this the kind of human being we want to create on this planet - compassionate, gracious, loving, open, and despite riches or fame, a deep humility and appreciation of fellow human beings?
My opinion of Keanu, already high from his films, just skyrocketed.
By some off chance, Keanu, if you're reading this: thanks for being a decent human being, a role model unbeknownst to yourself. I for one would like to know you and call you friend one day, because you are the kind of person I am.
Blessings to all this season, and remember why we're here. It ain't technology, and it ain't gifts. If you need further hints - and I'm not getting religious on you at all - just think about what you most appreciate in life. I bet it has nothing to do with money or power.
Mike
